Sunan Ibn Majah 2219 (Book 12, Hadith 83) #31571
Do Not Take Money From Fellow Muslims

SUMMARY: One should not take money from a fellow Muslim if the crop of fruits they sold fails.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever sells fruits then the crop fails, should not take any of his brother's money. Why would any of you take the money of his Muslim brother?"

QUICK LESSONS:
Help those in need even if it means sacrificing something for them . Be honest in your dealings with others .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should not take money from our fellow Muslims if the crop of fruits they sold fails. This is because it is wrong to take advantage of someone else's misfortune and it goes against the teachings of Islam which promote brotherhood and kindness towards one another. We must always be mindful to help those in need, even if it means sacrificing something for them. This hadith also teaches us that we should be honest in our dealings with others, as taking advantage of someone else's misfortune is dishonest and unethical.
