EXPLANATIONS:
During the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims are encouraged to increase their worship and devotion to Allah. The Prophet Muhammad was known for staying up late during this time and tightening his waist-wrap in order to focus on prayer. He also woke up his family so that they could join him in prayer as well. This hadith serves as an example for us today on how we should spend our time during these special days - by increasing our worship and devotion to Allah through prayer and other acts of worship. It is a reminder that we should take advantage of this blessed time by dedicating ourselves more fully to Allah's service.
