Sunan Ibn Majah 1746 (Book 7, Hadith 109) #31098
Rewarding Generosity During Fasting

SUMMARY: Whoever gives food to a fasting person will be rewarded as much as the fasting person.

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous and kind towards others
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the great reward that comes with giving food to someone who is fasting. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever gives food for a fasting person to break their fast will have a reward like theirs without it detracting from their own reward in any way. This shows us how generous Allah is and how He rewards those who are generous and kind towards others. It also teaches us the importance of helping those in need and being kind to one another during Ramadan or any other time of year.
