QUICK LESSONS:
Show respect for those who have passed away by not covering their grave with any kind of structure or decoration and by remembering them in our prayers instead .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibition of building structures over graves. It was narrated from Abu Saeed that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade building structures over graves. This means that it is not allowed to build any kind of structure on top of a grave or to cover it with anything like a roof or walls. The Prophet's prohibition was meant to show respect for the dead and also to prevent people from worshipping them instead of God. Building structures on top of graves can lead people away from worshipping God and towards worshipping the dead person instead, which is why it is forbidden in Islam. Therefore, this hadith teaches us to show respect for those who have passed away by not covering their graves with any kind of structure or decoration and by remembering them in our prayers instead.
