The House Without Angels

SUMMARY: Angels of mercy do not enter a house with a dog or a picture of any living creature.

Narrated Abu Talha: I heard Allah's Messenger saying; "Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or a picture of a living creature (a human being or an animal).

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow God's commands & Avoid Shirk .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the presence of angels in our homes. According to this hadith, angels will not enter any home that has either a dog or a picture of any living creature inside it. This means that if we want to have the blessings and mercy of Allah, we should make sure that our homes are free from these two things. We should also remember that having pictures in our homes can be considered as an act of shirk, which is strictly forbidden in Islam. Therefore, it is important for us to keep our homes clean and free from anything that could potentially lead us astray from the path of Allah.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this lesson so that we can stay away from sin and remain close to Allah by following His commands and avoiding anything He has prohibited us from doing. By doing so, we can ensure that our homes are blessed with the presence of angels who bring peace and tranquility into them.
