The Regret of 'Aishah

SUMMARY: 'Aishah's regret of not knowing something that would have prevented anyone else from washing the Prophet.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "If I had known then what I know now, no one would have washed the Prophet but his wives".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَوْ كُنْتُ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنَ الأَمْرِ مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا غَسَّلَ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ غَيْرُ نِسَائِهِ
