Repentance Accepted by Allah

SUMMARY: Allah accepted the repentance of a person and he fell down in prostration.

It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Ka’b bin Malik that his father said that when Allah accepted his repentance, he fell down prostrate.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ خَرَّ سَاجِدًا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of repentance and how it can be accepted by Allah. It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Kab bin Malik that his father said that when Allah accepted his repentance, he fell down prostrate. This shows us that when we sincerely repent for our sins, Allah will accept it and forgive us. We should also show our gratitude to Him for His mercy by falling down in prostration as a sign of humility and thankfulness.
