Reciting Surahs on Fridays

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ used to recite two surahs on Fridays.

It was narrated from Abu 'Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet used to recite "Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (ie, the Day of Resurrection)? Al-A’la (87) and Al-Ghashiyah (88) on Friday.
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ، عَنْ أَبِي عِنَبَةَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِـ ‏{سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى}‏ وَ ‏{هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of reciting certain surahs on Fridays. It was narrated from Abu 'Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet used to recite "Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?" These two surahs are known as Al-Ala and Al-Ghashiyah, respectively.
