Taking a bath is an important part of Islamic ritual purification known as Ghusl which is required before performing certain acts such as prayer or entering a mosque. Attar is an essential oil derived from flowers or other natural sources that has been used in perfumes since ancient times in many cultures including Islam. The miswak is a twig from certain trees that has been used since ancient times as an oral hygiene tool and was recommended by the Prophet Muhammad for its health benefits and spiritual rewards when used before prayer or reciting Quran. All these practices are meant to help Muslims spiritually prepare themselves for worshiping Allah on Fridays with humility and reverence.
