EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Umm Darda narrated that her husband, Abu Darda, did eleven prostrations with the Prophet. Prostration is an act of worship in Islam where a person bows down to Allah in humility and submission. It is believed that when one does this act of worship along with the prophet, it has more reward than doing it alone. This hadith teaches us to be humble and obedient to Allah's commands as well as to follow in the footsteps of our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We should strive to do good deeds like prayer and prostrations regularly so we can gain rewards from Allah SWT for our efforts. Additionally, this hadith also encourages us to take part in activities such as group prayers which have more reward than individual prayers or acts of worship.
