Raising Hands When Saying Allahu Akbar

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to raise his hands when saying Allahu Akbar.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah used to raise his hands at every Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar).
حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ رِيَاحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ
