The Prayer of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the prayer of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how it was done.

It was narrated that Qaza’ah said: "I asked Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah . He said: 'There is nothing good in that for you.’* I said: 'Explain it, may Allah have mercy on you.’ He said: 'The Iqamah would be given for the Zuhr prayer for the Messenger of Allah , then one of us would go out to Al- Baqi’, relieve himself, then come back and perform ablution, and he would find the Messenger of Allah still in the first Rak’ah of Zuhr.’"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ ـ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ لَكَ فِي ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ بَيِّنْ رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تُقَامُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ ـ الظُّهْرَ فَيَخْرُجُ أَحَدُنَا إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَيَقْضِي حَاجَتَهُ وَيَجِيءُ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ فَيَجِدُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ ـ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى مِنَ الظُّهْرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about how the Prophet Muhammad's prayer was done. It was narrated by Qazaa that he asked Abu Saeed Al-Khudri about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, to which he replied that there is nothing good in that for him. He then asked him to explain it, and Abu Saeed said that when an Iqamah would be given for Zuhr prayer, one would go out to Al-Baqi, relieve himself, come back and perform ablution before finding the Messenger of Allah still in his first Rak'at. This hadith teaches us about patience and dedication towards our prayers as well as being mindful of our hygiene before praying.
