SUMMARY: Women in the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to wait for 40 days after childbirth and put Wars on their faces due to freckles.

It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: "At the time of the Messenger of Allah, women in postnatal bleeding (after childbirth) used to wait for forty days, and we used to put Wars on our faces because of freckles".

QUICK LESSONS:
Wait for 40 days after childbirth , Put Wars on face due to freckles .

EXPLANATIONS:
During the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him, PBUH), women who experienced postnatal bleeding after childbirth were required to wait for forty days before resuming their normal activities. Additionally, they would put a special type of powder called Warsh on their faces if they had freckles. This was a practice that was done by women during this period and it is important to note that these practices were not mandatory but rather recommended as part of post-birth care. The purpose behind this practice was likely to ensure that women had enough rest and recovery time after giving birth so that they could be healthy and strong enough to take care of themselves and their families afterwards. It also served as an opportunity for them to bond with their newborns without any distractions or obligations from outside sources.
