Wash off any physical dirt or stains from your clothes before praying; Keep yourself and your clothes clean at all times; Remember not only physical but spiritual purity as well; Respect prayer by keeping yourself pure before performing it; Follow Prophet Muhammad's example in regards of keeping oneself pure before prayer.

This hadith is about how one should properly clean a garment that has semen on it. It was narrated by 'Amr bin Maimun who asked Sulaiman bin Yasar about what should be done if semen gets onto a person's clothing. Sulaiman then quoted Aishah who said that she saw Prophet Muhammad washing off any semen from his garments before going out to pray. This shows us how important it is for us to keep ourselves and our clothes clean at all times in order for us to be able to perform our prayers properly. We must also remember not only to wash away any physical dirt or stains but also any spiritual impurities as well so we can stay close with Allah SWT at all times.
