The Difference between Abu Hurairah and Abdullah bin Amr

SUMMARY: Abu Hurairah had more Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah than Abdullah bin Amr, as he did not write them down.

Narrated Abu Hurairah may Allah be pleased with him : "There is none with more Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah than I, except for 'Abdullah bin 'Amr, for he used to write, and I did not used to write".
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ مِنِّي إِلاَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَكُنْتُ لاَ أَكْتُبُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

This hadith is about the difference between two companions of Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him], Abu Hurairah and Abdullah bin Amr.
