Prayer for Uhud Mountain

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman climbed Uhud mountain and the mountain shook. The Prophet then said a prayer for the mountain to remain firm.

Narrated Anas: that the Messenger of Allah , Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman climbed Uhud (mountain) and it shook them, so the Prophet of Allah said: "Be firm O Uhud! For there is none upon you except a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسَ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَعِدَ أُحُدًا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ فَرَجَفَ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ اثْبُتْ أُحُدُ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ نَبِيٌّ وَصِدِّيقٌ وَشَهِيدَانِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the time when the Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman climbed Uhud mountain together. When they reached the top of the mountain it started shaking beneath them so much that they were afraid it would collapse. In response to this, the Prophet prayed for stability and strength for Uhud Mountain saying “Be firm O Uhud! For there is none upon you except a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs”. This hadith teaches us that we should always be thankful to Allah no matter what situation we are in or how difficult things may seem at times because He will always provide us with strength and stability if we turn to Him in prayer. It also shows us how important it is to have faith in Allah even when faced with difficult situations as He will never leave us alone or abandon us during our struggles but instead will help guide us through them if we ask Him sincerely from our hearts.
