The Righteousness of Umar bin Al-Khattab

SUMMARY: Umar bin Al-Khattab was so righteous that he was granted a palace in Paradise.

Narrated Anas: that the Prophet said: "I entered Paradise and it was as if I was in a palace of gold. So I said: 'Whose palace is this?' They said: 'A youth's, from the Quraish'. So I thought that I was him. I said: 'And who is he?' They said: "'Umar bin Al-Khattab".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the righteousness of Umar bin Al-Khattab. It is narrated by Anas that the Prophet said he entered Paradise and saw a palace made of gold. He asked whose palace it was and they told him it belonged to a youth from the Quraish tribe. He thought he himself was the youth but then found out it was actually Umar bin Al-Khattab who had been granted this palace due to his righteousness. This hadith teaches us that if we strive to be righteous in our lives then Allah will reward us with great blessings in both this world and the hereafter. We should always strive to do good deeds and follow Allah's commands so that we can be rewarded with His mercy and grace in both worlds.
