The Gate of Abu Bakr

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ ordered the closing of all the gates, except for the gate of Abu Bakr.

Narrated 'Aishah: that the Prophet ordered the closing of all the gates, except for the gate of Abu Bakr. And there is a narration on this topic from Abu Sa'eed.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ أَمَرَ بِسَدِّ الأَبْوَابِ إِلاَّ بَابَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a command given by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to close all the gates in Medina, except for one gate which was known as the Gate of Abu Bakr. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us that we should always be mindful of our actions and respect authority figures who are trying to keep us safe and secure.
