The Generosity of Allah

SUMMARY: Allah is generous and will not reject the supplications of those who call upon Him.

Salman Al-Farsi narrated that the Prophet said: "Indeed, Allah, is Hayy, Generous, when a man raises his hands to Him, He feels too shy to return them to him empty and rejected".

QUICK LESSONS:
Turn to Allah in times of need .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the generosity of Allah. It tells us that when we raise our hands in supplication, or du’a, to Him, He is so generous that He feels shy to return them empty and rejected. This teaches us that we should always turn to Allah in times of need and difficulty because He will never leave us without a response. We can be sure that whatever answer we receive from Him is for our own good even if it may not seem like it at first glance. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us of how merciful and kind Allah is; His generosity knows no bounds!
