QUICK LESSONS:
Seek repentance and forgiveness from Allah; Strive for righteousness; Turn back towards God's path; Do good deeds; Attain His mercy

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy and forgiveness of Allah. It tells us that even if we have committed sins, Allah will forgive us if we repent sincerely and turn to Him for redemption. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that Allah is surprised at those people who will enter Paradise in chains, meaning that even though they have done wrong, they still managed to be forgiven by Allah and attain His mercy. This teaches us that no matter how far we may have strayed from the path of righteousness, it is never too late to turn back and seek forgiveness from our Lord. We should always strive to do good deeds so as not to miss out on the blessings of Paradise.
