EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned against four major sins that are considered to be very serious in Islam. These sins are shirk with Allah, disobeying the parents, taking someone's life without a valid reason and making false statements or lying. Shirk is associating partners with Allah which is considered to be one of the biggest sins in Islam as it goes against one of its main pillars - Tawhid or Oneness of God. Disobeying parents is also a major sin as it goes against respecting them and honoring them for their sacrifices for us throughout our lives. Taking someone's life without a valid reason such as self-defense or capital punishment by law is also considered to be a major sin in Islam as it goes against preserving human life which is sacred according to Islamic teachings. Lastly, making false statements or lying is also considered to be a major sin because it goes against being truthful and honest which are important values taught by Islam.
