The Middle Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet of Allah taught that the middle prayer is Salat Al-'Asr.

Narrated Samurah bin Jundab: "The Prophet of Allah said: 'The middle Salat is Salat Al-'Asr'."
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ صَلاَةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
