The Many Doors of Faith

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that faith has many doors, the lowest of which is removing something harmful from the road and its highest is the statement 'La Ilaha Illallah'.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah said: "Faith has seventy-some odd doors, the lowest of which is removing something harmful from the road, and its highest is the statement 'La Ilaha Illallah'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us about faith and its many doors. According to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) there are seventy some odd doors to faith. The lowest door is removing something harmful from the road while its highest door is saying 'La Ilaha Illallah'. This phrase means that there is no god but Allah and it's a declaration of belief in Islam. It's important for Muslims to remember this phrase as it shows their commitment to their faith. By doing good deeds such as removing something harmful from the road we can open more doors of faith and become closer to Allah.
