Jami at-Tirmidhi 2466 (Book 37, Hadith 52) #28101
Devotion to Allah Brings Riches and Eases Poverty

SUMMARY: Allah promises to fill the chest of those who devote themselves to His worship with riches and alleviate their poverty, but if they do not do so, He will fill their hands with problems and not alleviate their poverty.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: "Indeed Allah, Most High said: 'O son of Adam! Devote yourself to My worship, I will fill your chest with riches and alleviate your poverty. And if you do not do so, then I will fill your hands with problems and not alleviate your poverty'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of worshipping Allah. On the other hand, if we don't devote ourselves to worshipping Him, He will fill our hands with problems instead of alleviating our poverty. This hadith encourages us to be devoted in worshipping Allah as it is a way for us to receive blessings from Him in this life and the hereafter. It also reminds us that even though we may face difficulties in life due to lack of money or resources, these difficulties can be overcome through devotion towards Allah's worship.
