Contentment is True Riches

SUMMARY: Being content with oneself is true richness.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Richness is not having many possessions, but richness is being content with oneself".

TOPICS
contentment  *  richness  *  possessions

QUICK LESSONS:
Be content with oneself.
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that true richness does not come from having many possessions, but rather from being content with what one has. This means that even if someone has very little, they can still be considered rich if they are satisfied and grateful for what they have. This hadith encourages us to appreciate the blessings we have in life and to not focus on material wealth or possessions as a measure of success or happiness. Instead, it teaches us to find joy in the simple things and to be thankful for all that we have been given.
