EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of having a long life with good deeds. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Busr, Abu Hurairah and Jabir that a Bedouin asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who is the best of people? The Prophet ﷺ replied that it is he whose life is long and his deeds are good. This hadith teaches us to strive for a longer life with more good deeds in order to be considered as one of the best people. We should focus on doing more righteous acts in our lives so that we can be rewarded for them in this world and hereafter. We should also strive to live longer so that we can have more time to do these righteous acts.
