Permission to Wear Silk

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) allowed two of his companions to wear silk.

Narrated Anas: The Prophet allowed 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Auf and Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam to wear silk.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي حَرِيرٍ‏.‏
