The Dream of Two Liars

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad had a dream in which he was holding two gold bracelets that were bothering him. He was then instructed to blow them off, and they flew away. This dream was interpreted as two liars who would appear after the Prophet's death.

Ibn 'abbas narrated fro Abu Hurairah that the Messengr of Allah (s.a.w) said: "I had a dream while sleeping as if there were two gold bracelets in my hands which bothered me very much. So it was reveled to me to blow them off. I blew them off and they flew away. I interpreted them to be two liars who would appear after me. One of them called Masalamah of Yamamah, and (the other) Al-'ansi of San'a'". (sahih)

QUICK LESSONS:
Pay attention to our dreams and interpret them correctly with guidance from Allah .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad had a dream in which he saw himself holding two gold bracelets that were causing him distress. He was then instructed to blow them off, and they flew away. This dream was interpreted by Allah as being about two liars who would appear after the Prophet's death - Masalamah of Yamamah and Al-'ansi of San'a'. Dreams are often seen as messages from Allah, so it is important for us to pay attention to our dreams and interpret them correctly with guidance from Allah. We should also be aware of false prophets or people claiming to have knowledge or authority when they do not, so we can avoid being misled by their lies.
