Jami at-Tirmidhi 2247 (Book 33, Hadith 90) #27880
Belief in Allah & His Messengers

SUMMARY: The Prophet (s.a.w) asked a Jewish boy to testify that he was the Messenger of Allah, and when the boy asked him to testify in return, the Prophet (s.a.w) recited his belief in Allah and His Angels, Books, Messengers and the Last Day instead. When asked what he saw, the boy described a throne above water which was interpreted by the Prophet (s.a.w) as being Iblis' throne above sea; when asked again what else he saw, he described two liars or two truthful ones and a liar which confused him so much that the Prophet (s.a.w) told them to leave him alone afterwards

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "The Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) met Ibn Sa'eed on one of the streets of Al-Madinah, so he stopped him- and he was a Jewish boy with locks- and Abu Bakr and 'Umar were with him. So the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said to him: 'Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?' So he replied: 'Do you testify that I am Allah's Messenger?' So the Prophet(s.a.w) said: 'I believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day'.Then the Prophet(s.a.w) said to him: 'What do you see?' He said: 'I see a throne above the water'. So the Prophet(s.a.w) said: 'He sees the throne of Iblis above the sea'. He said: 'What else do you see?' He said: 'I see a truthful one,and two liars- or two truthful ones and a liar'. So the Prophet (s.a.w)said:"He has been confounded. So leave him'."

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how we should believe in Allah and His messengers without any doubt or hesitation; it also teaches us that we should not ask for proof from others if they are asking us to believe something because it is our duty as Muslims to have faith in whatever has been revealed by God through His messengers without questioning it further or expecting proof from them too; this hadith also shows us how even though we may not understand certain things at first glance but if we have faith then eventually everything will become clear with time . The most important lesson here is that no matter what happens around us ,we must always remain steadfast on our beliefs and never waver from them .
