Jami at-Tirmidhi 1978 (Book 27, Hadith 84) #27611
Cursing Undeservingly

SUMMARY: The Prophet warned against cursing something undeservingly, as the curse will return upon the one who cursed.

'Ibn 'Abbas narrated that a man cursed the wind in the presence of the Prophet, so he said: "Do not curse the wind, for it is merely doing as ordered , and whoever curses something undeservingly, then the curse returns upon him".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do not curse something undeservingly
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Abbas warns against cursing something undeservingly. This is because when someone curses something without a valid reason or justification for doing so, then the curse will return upon them. This is an important lesson to remember and practice in our daily lives. We should not be quick to judge or criticize things that we do not understand or know about; instead we should take time to learn more about it before making any decisions or judgments. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us that everything has a purpose and is done according to Allah's orders; therefore it should be respected and appreciated rather than cursed at.
