EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad is teaching us about the importance of being virtuous. He was holding his grandson in his arms and telling him that he should not be stingy, cowardly or ignorant, but instead strive to be like the Raihanillah plant of Paradise. This is a reminder for us all to strive for excellence in our character and behaviour so that we can become closer to Allah's pleasure. We must remember that our actions have consequences and it is important to always choose good over bad so that we can reap rewards from Allah on the Day of Judgement. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about how important it is for parents to instil good values into their children from a young age as they are more likely to carry these values with them throughout their lives if they are taught at an early age.
