Jami at-Tirmidhi 1833 (Book 25, Hadith 49) #27461
The Value of Small Good Deeds

SUMMARY: One should not underestimate any good deed, even if it is small. If one has nothing, they should still greet their brother with a smiling face. When cooking something in a pot, one should increase the broth and share some of it with their neighbor.

Narrated Abu Dharr: That the Messenger of Allah said: "Let one of you not consider any good to be insignificant. If he has nothing, then let him meet his brother with a smiling face. If you buy some meat or cook something in a pot, then increase its broth, and serve some of it to your neighbor". Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Shu'bah reported it from Abu 'Imran Al-Jawni.
