Be content with what you have and do not strive for more than necessary.

This hadith speaks to the simplicity and humility of the beloved Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was known for his modesty and humbleness in all aspects of life. Even his bed was simple and humble - made from a tanned skin stuffed with palm-fibres. This is an example for us to follow in our own lives - that we should be content with what we have and not strive for more than necessary. We should also remember that material possessions are not important; rather it is our character and actions that will be remembered by others after us.
