EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about when Prophet Muhammad entered Makkah during the year of conquest. He wore a helmet on his head and someone told him that Ibn Khatal was clinging to the covering of Ka’bah. The Prophet then ordered for him to be killed. This hadith teaches us that justice must be served no matter who it is, even if it is someone close or related to you. It also teaches us that we should not take matters into our own hands but instead leave it up to those in authority such as judges or rulers who are responsible for making sure justice is served properly and fairly according to Islamic law. We should also remember that Allah will always judge fairly and justly, so we should trust Him with all matters concerning justice and fairness in this world as well as in the hereafter.
