The Importance of Making Roads Wide Enough

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised people to make the roads wide enough for two people to pass each other comfortably.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Make the road seven forearm lengths".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الضُّبَعِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ اجْعَلُوا الطَّرِيقَ سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ
