QUICK LESSONS:
Give gifts with intentionality and thoughtfulness so they can benefit recipients in the long run .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad taught that a lifelong gift is an inheritance for its inhabitant. A lifelong gift, or hibah da’im in Arabic, is something given to someone with the intention of it being kept and used by them for their lifetime. This could be anything from money to property or even items like jewelry and furniture. It is important to note that this type of gift does not have to be given directly from one person to another; it can also be passed down through generations as part of an inheritance. This hadith teaches us the importance of giving gifts with the intention of them being kept and used by their recipient for their lifetime, rather than just giving something away without any thought or consideration as to how it will be used in the future. It also reminds us that we should think carefully about what we give away and how our gifts will benefit those who receive them in the long run.
