The Prohibition of Using Wine for Vinegar

SUMMARY: Wine cannot be used for vinegar.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: "I asked the Messenger of Allah 'Can wine be used for vinegar?' He said: 'No'" Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ أَيُتَّخَذُ الْخَمْرُ خَلاًّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
