Different Views on a Topic

SUMMARY: This hadith discusses the views of different people of knowledge on a particular topic.

Another chain of narration with similar meaning. Abu 'Eisa said: Some of the people of knowledge followed this Hadith and stated their view accordingly. This is the view of Ahmad and Ishaq. Some of the people of knowledge did not use this Hadith, among them are Ash-Shafi'i and Sa'eed bin Zaid the brother of Hammad bin Zaid. And Abu Labid's (a narrator) name is Limazah bin Zabbar.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، هُوَ أَخُو حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ خِرِّيتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَقَالُوا بِهِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَأْخُذْ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مِنْهُمُ الشَّافِعِيُّ ‏.‏ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَخُو حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ‏.‏ وَأَبُو لَبِيدٍ اسْمُهُ لِمَازَةُ بْنُ زَبَّارٍ
