Jami at-Tirmidhi 1188 (Book 13, Hadith 15) #26757
Treating Women with Respect

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that women should be treated with respect and kindness, as they are delicate and should not be forced to change.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed the woman is like a rib, if you try to straighten her you will break her, and if you leave her, what you enjoy from her will be with the crookedness".

QUICK LESSONS:
Treat women with respect and kindness; Appreciate them for who they are; Do not try to force them into changing their ways or beliefs; Accept them as they are.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us the importance of treating women with respect and kindness. He compared a woman to a rib, which is delicate and can easily break if it is bent too much or too harshly. This means that we should not try to force a woman to change her ways or beliefs, but instead accept her for who she is. We must also remember that whatever joy we get from our relationships with women comes from their unique qualities, so we must appreciate them for who they are rather than trying to change them into something else. This hadith teaches us the importance of respecting all people regardless of gender or any other factor.
