The hadith states that it is permissible to perform one tawaf and one sa’i for both hajj and umrah when assuming ihram. This means that a person who has assumed ihram can complete the rituals of both hajj and umrah with just one tawaf around the Kaaba in Makkah followed by a sa’i between Safa and Marwa hills.
