The Significance of Friday in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that Friday is the best day of the week, as it was the day Adam was created, entered Paradise and expelled from it. The Day of Judgement will also occur on a Friday.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Prophet said: "The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday".
