The Importance of Performing Al-Witr Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised to perform the Witr prayer before the morning prayer.

Ibn Umar narrated that : the Prophet said: "Precede the morning with Al-Witr".
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
