Jami at-Tirmidhi 250 (Book 2, Hadith 102) #25815
The Power of Saying "Amen" in Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that when the Imam says 'Amin' during prayer, all of those present should also say 'Amin'. If their 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, then their past sins will be forgiven.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Prophet said "When the Imam says 'Amin' then (all of you) say 'Amin'. For whoever's 'Amin' concurs with the 'Amin' of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven".

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaches us about the power of saying ‘Amen’ during prayer. He explains that when the Imam says ‘Amen’ at the end of a prayer, all those present should also say ‘Amen’. If their ‘amen’ coincides with that of the angels, then Allah will forgive them for any past sins they may have committed. This hadith encourages us to take part in prayers and to pay attention to what we are saying so that our words can be aligned with those of Allah and His angels. It reminds us that if we sincerely pray and ask for forgiveness from Allah, He will grant it to us if we are sincere in our repentance.
