Narrator not mentioned: And the Prophet said: "If the people knew what (reward) is in the call (Adhan) and the first row, and they found no other way to get that except drawing lots, then they would draw lots".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive hard for rewards both here on earth and hereafter; Take part regularly in congregational prayers; Be punctual with your daily Prayers .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of two aspects of Islamic worship - adhan and first row in prayer. Adhan is a call made before each obligatory prayer five times a day to inform Muslims that it's time for them to pray. It is also an invitation for non-Muslims to accept Islam as their religion. The first row in congregational prayers has special significance as it carries more reward than other rows behind it. This hadith suggests that if people knew how great this reward was they would be willing to draw lots for it - indicating its immense value and importance. Thus this hadith encourages us to strive hard for these rewards by being punctual with our prayers and taking part in congregational prayers regularly so we can reap its benefits both here on earth and hereafter in paradise.
