This hadith highlights the importance of both Imams and Mu’adhhins in Islam. An Imam is a leader who leads prayers in a mosque or any other place where Muslims gather for prayer. A mu’adhhin is someone who calls people to prayer five times a day, usually from atop a minaret or tower near a mosque.
