QUICK LESSONS:
Respect other people’s privacy and do not pry too much into their lives without consent.
EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by AbuHurayrah, it is permissible for a person to look into someone else’s house without asking for permission. This means that if one passes by a house and takes a glance inside out of curiosity or interest, then there is no need to ask for permission from the owner of the house. This hadith teaches us that we should not be too concerned about privacy when it comes to looking at other people’s houses as long as we are not intruding or entering their property. We should also respect other people’s privacy and not pry too much into their lives without their consent.
