QUICK LESSONS:
Look for deeper meaning in things; Explore literature and art forms for hidden gems of wisdom; Take time to explore further; Do not judge something based on its initial appearance or acceptance by society as important or meaningful .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of poetry and how it can be a source of wisdom. It was narrated by Ubayy b. Kab, who reported that the Prophet Muhammad said “In poetry there is wisdom”. This means that even though poetry may not always be taken seriously, it can still contain valuable lessons and insights into life and its complexities. The Prophet's words remind us to look for the deeper meaning in things, even if they are not immediately obvious or accepted by society as important or meaningful. We should also remember that knowledge comes from many sources, including literature and art forms such as poetry, which often contain hidden gems of wisdom that we may miss if we do not take the time to explore them further.
