Celebrating the Arrival of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was welcomed to Medina with joy and celebration.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: When the Messenger of Allah came to Medina, the Abyssinians played for his coming out of joy; they played with spears.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ الْمَدِينَةَ لَعِبَتِ الْحَبَشَةُ لِقُدُومِهِ فَرَحًا بِذَلِكَ لَعِبُوا بِحِرَابِهِمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ arrived in Medina, he was welcomed with great joy and celebration. The people of Medina were so excited that they even played with spears out of happiness. This hadith shows us how important it is to show love and respect for our beloved prophet ﷺ, as well as how we should be welcoming to those who come into our lives. It also teaches us that we should always be grateful for what we have and express our joy in a respectful manner. We can learn from this hadith that showing kindness towards others is an important part of being a good Muslim, no matter who they are or where they come from.
