The Prophet's Mercy Towards Servants and Women

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (saws) never hit a servant or woman.

'A’isha said: the Messenger of Allah (saws ) never struck a servant or a woman.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها، قَالَتْ مَا ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ خَادِمًا وَلاَ امْرَأَةً قَطُّ
