QUICK LESSONS:
Show respect for other people's wishes even if they are different from your own; Be generous with your own gifts so that others can benefit from them too; Be grateful for any gifts you receive from others.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of respecting gifts given to us by others. In this hadith, we learn that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave Ali a silken dress as a gift. However, when he noticed that the Prophet was angry with him for wearing it, Ali immediately cut it into pieces and distributed them among his wives out of respect for the Prophet's wishes. This teaches us that we should always be grateful for gifts given to us by others and show respect for their wishes even if they are different from our own. We should also remember to be generous with our own gifts so that others can benefit from them too.
